SEO content strategy built from what people in the UAE actually search

Publishing more blog posts is not a strategy. We build topic clusters from Google.ae demand, decide which pages should be services, guides, comparisons or news, brief writers with the exact questions to answer, and schedule refreshes so older pages keep their positions.

Direct answer

What does an SEO content strategy involve?

An SEO content strategy decides which topics a site should cover, which page type each topic needs, how pages link to each other, and in what order they are published. It starts with query research to group searches into clusters, then assigns a pillar page and supporting pages to each cluster. Writers receive briefs with target queries, headings, sources and word count. Published pages are tracked and refreshed when rankings slip, typically every six to twelve months.

What's included

What content strategy in Dubai includes

Demand research

Queries grouped by intent and volume from Google.ae, in English and Arabic where relevant, with seasonal patterns such as Ramadan and summer noted.

Topic cluster architecture

Pillar and supporting pages mapped with their internal links, so each cluster reads as one authority on a subject rather than scattered posts.

Writer briefs

Each brief lists the primary query, secondary queries, the questions to answer, headings, sources to cite, and the answer to put in the opening paragraph.

Twelve-week editorial calendar

A dated publishing schedule with page type, owner and target cluster, reviewed monthly against Search Console data.

Refresh and prune programme

Pages losing impressions are rewritten or merged. Thin pages with no traffic are consolidated or removed so the site stays lean.

The market

How UAE audiences find content in 2026

Content now has to earn attention from search results, AI answers and social feeds at once. Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode use a ‘query fan-out’ technique, running several related searches across subtopics before building a response, so a site that covers a subject in depth gives Google more to draw on. Google’s helpful content guidance asks the questions it always has: whether a page offers original information, a complete picture of the topic, clear authorship and accurate facts. It also lists warning signs, including producing content on many topics in the hope that some of it ranks, and changing dates to look fresh. In the UAE, a strategy also has to decide what is published in Arabic, what in English and what in both, based on how each audience searches rather than on translation.

  • Google’s AI features use query fan-out, searching related subtopics while building a response.
  • Google’s helpful content guidance flags changing page dates without substantial updates as a warning sign.
  • W3Techs estimates only 0.6% of websites with a known content language publish in Arabic (October 2026).
Why listings stall

What keeps content strategy off page one

Publishing to a calendar instead of a demand map

Weekly blog posts chosen in a brainstorm rarely line up with what buyers search for. Map the questions people ask at each stage, from first research to choosing a provider, then assign one page to each. A smaller set of pages that answer real queries outperforms a long archive of loosely related posts.

Several pages chasing the same query

When three blog posts and a service page all target the same phrase, Google has to guess which to rank and often rotates between them. Audit for overlap, merge the weaker pages into the strongest one, redirect the rest, and give each remaining page a distinct purpose and a distinct search to answer.

Content with no named author or evidence

Anonymous posts that repeat what every other site says give Google and readers no reason to trust them. Google’s guidance asks who created the content and how. Add real bylines with relevant experience, cite sources, include your own figures or examples, and say plainly what you know from doing the work.

Translating instead of planning each language

An English calendar translated into Arabic misses topics Arabic speakers search for and wastes effort on ones they do not. Research each language separately, decide which topics need both versions, and write the Arabic pages for Gulf readers so they do not read as converted from English.

The competition

Volume publishers lead; depth wins the niche

Searches for content strategy are led by agencies and global marketing blogs, while the topics a UAE business actually wants to rank for are usually held by a mix of large publishers, government portals, comparison sites and a few competitors who publish regularly. Many of those competitors produce generic posts in English only, often rewritten from international sources. That leaves room for content grounded in local detail: UAE regulations explained plainly, prices and timelines in dirhams, differences between emirates, and first-hand answers from people who do the work. Arabic content is a further opening, because so little of the web is written in Arabic and much of what exists is thin.

How it works

How we deliver content strategy: three steps, no black box

STEP 01

Research and cluster

We collect queries from Search Console, keyword tools and competitor pages, then group them into clusters with a defined page type for each.

STEP 02

Brief and produce

Your writers or ours work from structured briefs. Every draft is checked against the brief before publishing, including the opening answer.

STEP 03

Track and refresh

Each page is reviewed at 90 days. Pages that rank are expanded. Pages that do not are rewritten, merged or redirected.

FAQ

Content strategy: questions UAE businesses ask

Answered in the first sentence, so AI assistants can quote us directly.

Enough to cover the questions your customers ask, and no more. A single-clinic practice can rank with a dozen well-targeted condition pages. A multi-service firm may need over a hundred. The number follows the query research, not a monthly quota, and a smaller set of complete pages usually outperforms a large set of thin ones.

If your customers search in Arabic, yes. Arabic queries are often less competitive than English equivalents in the UAE, and Arabic pages can rank quickly for local intent. We check demand in both languages before recommending it, then brief native Arabic writers rather than translating English pages word for word.

Both options are available. Some clients have in-house writers and only need research, briefs and editing. Others want us to produce the pages. In either case we own the calendar, review every draft against its brief and track performance after publishing, so the strategy is executed rather than left in a spreadsheet.
