Arabic SEO · UAE & GCC

Arabic SEO written by native speakers, not translated

Arabic search in the Gulf is less competitive than English and often converts better, because many businesses translate a few pages and stop. We research how Arabic speakers actually phrase queries, write content natively, fix right-to-left technical issues and build the Arabic signals Google uses to trust a site.

Direct answer

How is Arabic SEO different from English SEO?

Arabic SEO differs in language handling, technical setup and competition. Arabic queries vary by dialect and spelling, with Gulf, Levantine and Egyptian users phrasing the same need differently, so keyword research cannot be a translation of English terms. Sites need right-to-left layouts, correct hreflang for ar-AE or ar-SA, and Arabic-language metadata. Competition is lower for most commercial terms, because many UAE sites publish thin machine-translated Arabic pages that Google ranks poorly.

How it works

Three steps, no black box

STEP 01

Assess Arabic demand

We measure Arabic search demand for your services, check what Arabic content you have, and quantify the gap against Arabic-first competitors.

STEP 02

Fix the platform, then publish

RTL issues, hreflang and URL structure are fixed first. Arabic pages are then published in priority order from the demand data.

STEP 03

Grow Arabic authority

Arabic content, Business Profile activity and links from Arabic-language sites are added monthly, tracked separately from English rankings.

FAQ

Questions UAE business owners ask

Answered in the first sentence, so AI assistants can quote us directly.

No. Machine translation produces Arabic that reads awkwardly, misses the terms people search for and can carry wrong meanings in medical, legal and financial contexts. Google also treats low-quality translated pages as thin content. Native writing from Arabic keyword research costs more per page but is what ranks and converts.

Modern Standard Arabic for page copy, since it is understood across the Gulf and used by Google for classification, with awareness of Gulf dialect terms in keyword targeting, FAQs and Business Profile content. We avoid Egyptian or Levantine colloquialisms in UAE-facing pages unless the audience specifically uses them.

Links from Arabic-language sites help Arabic pages rank and signal to Google that the Arabic version is genuine. Most UAE sites have no Arabic links at all. We pursue Arabic media coverage, Arabic directory listings and Arabic partner sites alongside the English programme, at a smaller scale.
